The origin of this charity.
My name is Nynke and I am the founder of this charity. It all started with a
personal experience that changed my life. When my brother Guus was diagnosed with lymphoma,
our family life suddenly became an emotional rollercoaster. It was a shocking and devastating
situation.

Our goal is to build specialized children’s cancer hospitals and transfer the necessary knowledge
and resources to medical professionals in Africa. We want to ensure that every child has the
opportunity to heal and dream of a future after cancer.

A STEP TOWARDS LASTING CHANGE
With your support we can bring about lasting change in pediatric cancer care. Your donations and
contributions help us fund projects such as the Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital in Eldoret,
Kenya, and the Kilimanjaro Christian Medical Center in Tanzania. These hospitals will provide a
safe haven for children with cancer, where they can receive the best possible care and
treatments.

We have decided to climb Kilimanjaro in the summer of 2024. By participating in this challenge, we hope to raise money and awareness for childhood cancer care in Africa. Together we can make a difference and give children the hope they deserve.
In collaboration with organizations such as World Child Cancer and the Princess Máxima Center, we have focused on improving child cancer care in Africa. In countries such as Tanzania and Kenya, access to good treatments and care is limited. This results in a low survival rate for children with cancer, which is simply unacceptable.
